Science Museum — James Watt and Our World
Regarded as the ‘greatest benefactor of the human race’, James Watt’s remarkable inventions have shaped the way we live today. Without them, the Industrial Revolution could never have happened. This permanent exhibition celebrates his achievements through an extensive collection of full-size engines, a recreation of Watt’s attic workshop and 8430 fascinating objects. The exhibition graphics required simplicity and clarity – from large scale information graphics to exhibit labels, all presented using a singular typeface and a cohesive colour palette.
