Since its founding in 1955, the Robert Welch brand continues to place strong design principles at the heart of everything they do. With a broad range of products for the kitchen, living and dining, maintaining consistency across packaging was key to ensure recognition and standout amongst competitor brands. The task identified what is strong and working well – such as the role of black but complimenting it with a sophisticated warm metallic colour. It also provided a focus on modernising inconsistent elements such as the introduction of a grid and typographic system, as well as elevating the product photography. The end result is a revitalised range and brand image which re-establishes its authority and a design aesthetic that provides a foundation for the future.
