Berry Bros. & Rudd

Visual Identity

Established in 1698, Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain's oldest wine and spirit merchant. With such history and heritage, evolving the brand's identity to be more relevant, modern and robust was no easy task and one that came with an enormous responsibility. An archive spanning five centuries provided many visual clues from artefacts that ultimately came together over time as a single narrative. Central to this was a logotype which evoked a timeless, understated yet idiosyncratic quality and a new approach to photography capturing behind-the-scenes stories, highlighting Berry Bros. & Rudd's unique position as a direct link between the makers and drinkers of wine.
